I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christine Wegerich war seit 2007 als Professorin für Personalentwicklung sowie Unternehmensführung an der Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft (HTW) in Berlin tätig. 2009 wechselte sie nach Würzburg und übernahm eine Professur für Personalmanagement und -entwicklung in der Fakultät Wirtschaftwissenschaften.
Als Beraterin für Personal- und Organisationsentwicklung bei der Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, Heidelberg, verantwortete sie von 2001 bis 2007 die Betreuung und Beratung der Unternehmensbereiche Personal, Unternehmensentwicklung sowie der Verkaufseinheit Amerika. Zudem war Christine Wegerich Programmverantwortliche für das internationale Heidelberg Graduate Development Program; für diese Programmkonzeption erhielt sie 2002 beim Weiterbildungsaward für innovative Entwicklungskonzepte der Fachzeitschrift management & training und IIR Institut Frankfurt eine Auszeichnung. Auch war Christine Wegerich zuständig für die weltweite Potenzialentwicklung und Nachfolgeplanung im Unternehmen.
In dieser Zeit schloss sie ihre nebenberuflich erstellte Promotion zu dem Thema Strategische Personalentwicklung als Instrument zur Erreichung des Unternehmensziels an der Brandenburgischen Technischen Universität Cottbus ab.
