It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 5Configuration Parameters
In this chapter we will discuss Replication Server configuration parameters. Configuration parameters are options that the user can set, using the configure replication server, alter connection, and alter route commands. Configuration parameters are stored in the rs_config system table, and config file parameters are stored in the Replication Server configuration file. These parameters can only be modified by users with “sa” permissions. Note that Replication Server release 15.0.1 and above supports dynamic configuration.
