So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 11Functions and Function Strings
Sybase Replication Server is capable of replicating transactions heterogeneously. It provides a set of Replication Server functions that map to data server operations such as insert, delete, update, etc. Replication Server translates the data server operations from the primary data server to the Replication Server functions and transmits these functions to the remote Replication Servers.
Replication Server 15.0 supports the ASE truncate table command with the truncate partition clause. When using rs_truncate, a new function-string variable, ?n!parm?, is available to name the partition.
