In today’s global environment, we need to understand how character set, language, and sort order settings can impact our replication system and the design. Replication Server, Sybase Central, and Replication Server Manager support a global environment by providing support for all Sybase supported character sets, with character set conversion between replication sites, localization of messages into Sybase supported languages, and non-binary sort orders. RepAgent uses the same character set, sort order, and language as Adaptive Server Enterprise.
