This chapter discusses Replication Server security issues including creating and modifying logins, authentication, passwords, and permissions. Replication Server includes many components, and managing the login names and passwords is part of managing Replication Server security. For example, depending on your security requirements, you can encrypt all the passwords at the Replication Server system level and manage the encrypted passwords, or you can decrypt some of the passwords and manage them as cleartext passwords.
