It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Sybase Replication System for Non-Sybase Data Servers
Sybase Replication Server supports replicating transactions to and from non-Sybase data servers (Oracle, IBM DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server). These non-Sybase data servers may act as both primary and replicate while using Sybase Replication Server technology as the central distribution mechanism in providing near real-time updates. For replicating to and from non-Sybase data servers, you will need two additional components, which are bundled with Replication Server Options:
A Replication Agent
Sybase Enterprise Connect Data Access (formerly DirectConnect)
