It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 13Multi-Site Availability
The muti-site availability (MSA) feature is available in Replication Server 12.6 and later. MSA requires only one database replication definition and one database subscription for each replicated database. MSA allows replication of data changes from the primary database to multiple replicate databases for warm standby and non-warm standby databases, and allows replication of DDL and system stored procedures to non-warm standby databases. MSA also allows the implementation of a filtering strategy to choose whether or not to replicate individual tables, transactions, functions, system stored procedures, and data filtering based on owner or user and data definition languages.
