PERSEVERANCE
Entrepreneurs know what it means to fail. But the ones who succeed are the ones who persevere to win the next battles. The people who lead small businesses must endure many challenges, and they must stare down and overcome defeat. Perseverance, of course, is a primary differentiator between the successful small businesses and everybody else. It’s also integral to Sun Tzu.
For the sage, even the most disadvantaged army can be successful with the right spirit. He directs us to turn disadvantage to advantage and miss no opportunity to defeat the enemy. When difficulties come, small businesses don’t have the resources to wait it out. We must take action, and are well advised to follow the principles of Sun Tzu.
