So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
4.1 Object Properties
Inkscape has a number of dialogs for manipulating various properties of objects, but only one of them is so generic as to be called simply Object Properties (accessible by pressing 
or by choosing a command in the Object menu). This dialog is quite small, as shown in Figure 4-1.
You need to select (Chapter 5) a single object to view its properties in this dialog. The identifier (ID) of an object is the id attribute of the corresponding element in the SVG source of the document (Appendix A).
