When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Author
Tony A. Gaskins Jr. is a faithful husband and father first. He's the son of two humble parents and the older brother to one sister. Tony started building his business and brand with literally no money in the bank. He was working a job earning $8.50 an hour as a group-home counselor and still in college pursuing a degree in criminology.
Tony never finished college because by his eighth year as a part-time student, his business took his life to another level. After three years of what seemed like no progress, he had a breakthrough. After landing himself on several globally televised talk shows and other media outlets, his following started to grow. In 2010 he became a legitimate professional speaker for organizations like the NBA, NBPA, NFL, NCAA, and more. He was invited to speak at colleges and universities around the United States and later to share his message in 10 other countries. Tony speaks on several topics including business, love and relationships, entrepreneurship, leadership, and more. He focuses on a balanced-life approach and refuses to box himself in to just one topic. Many college athletic teams call on him to tell his story of losing his full football scholarship and to share his tips for the student athletes on how they can avoid the pitfalls. Churches call him in to share a message of relentless faith and perseverance. Other organizations bring him in to share messages about sacrifice and commitment to a goal.
