When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
- Acquire the capabilities of a presentation surface (refer to the Getting capabilities of a presentation surface recipe). Store them in a variable of type VkSurfaceCapabilitiesKHR named surface_capabilities.
- Create a variable of type uint32_t named number_of_images.
- Assign a value of surface_capabilities.minImageCount + 1 to the number_of_images variable.
- Check whether the value of the maxImageCount member of the surface_capabilities variable is greater than zero. If it is, this means there is a limit to the maximal allowed number of created images. In this case, check whether the value of the number_of_images variable is greater than the value of surface_capabilities.maxImageCount. If it is, clamp the value of the number_of_images ...
