When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
- Prepare parameters for each image you want to set up a barrier for. Store them in a vector of type std::vector<ImageTransition> named image_transitions. For each image, use the following values:
- Image's handle in an Image member
- Type of memory operations that involved the image so far in the CurrentAccess member
- Type of memory operations that will be performed on the image from now on, after the barrier, in the NewAccess member
- Current image's internal memory layout in CurrentLayout member
- Layout image's memory should change into after the barrier in NewLayout member
- Index of a queue family that has been referencing the image so far (or a VK_QUEUE_FAMILY_IGNORED value if we don't want to transfer queue ownership) in the ...
