In general, an RFQ goes through several stages during its processing cycle. We define below a very general description of the business process associated with RFQ processing. There are several variations in practice that are specific to each industry. Also, in most real-world implementations, there is a uniqueness associated with each company’s business flows. Figure 12.1 depicts this process flow.
