It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Windows XP has always had a firewall for protection against remote-controlled attacks from the Internet, but it used to be extremely hard to find. Now it has its own icon in the Control Panel, and its own chapter in this book (Chapter 10).
