Charlie Robertson estaba preocupado. Había mostrado casi toda la cartera de golosinas de Bassett, pero su discurso no convencía al posible cliente, que mostraba un absoluto desinterés.

Corría el año 1899 y así nacía el regaliz en varios formatos llamado Allsorts (que significa «de todo tipo») de Bassett[3]. Todavía les llueven los pedidos.
