Tuning recovery

When a member joins the group, there can be two scenarios: either it's a new member or it's a member connecting after some time. In both of these cases, the new member might lag behind the other members. The newly joined member is assigned a state RECOVERING, and it tries to select a server from existing online members in the group called a donor. The recovery process now has been extended to detecting the following:

• Purged data scenario: If the donor contains purged data that is required for recovery, it throws an error and tries to elect a new donor

• Duplicated data: If the server joining the group already contains data that the data is coming from the donor during the recovery process, it
  • throws an error
  • Other errors ...
