Although Datadog has been appreciated for its user interface, experience, and customizable dashboards, there are times that the dashboard can get too technical to understand and may cause complications in using Datadog. Another instance where you may encounter a lot of difficulties in monitoring their servers is when there are a lot of apps. These apps make it difficult to find what we're actually looking for in the dashboard.

The RDS health monitoring is an additional plus but it would have been more awesome if it could have worked without integrating it with the entire AWS.
