The CSV storage engine stores data in a text file, in fields separated by a comma. In this engine, the server creates a .frm file for the table, and the data is stored in a CSV format. The CSV storage engine does not provide indexing support, so it is often impractical in use-cases with a large amount of data. All columns of a CSV table should strictly follow the NOT NULL attribute.
