Pretty much every day, I get the train into the center of Manchester along with hundreds of other commuters. Call me stupid, but for a long time I refused to buy a weekly train ticket because I didn’t want to become “part of the system,” even though it would save me around £10 a week. I didn’t want to become like the commuters whose sole purpose seems to be getting from point A to point B in the shortest amount of time, whilst ignoring everything around them. But eventually I succumbed to the idea of saving a bit of money and avoiding the hassle of buying a ticket every day.
