13. Jazz Inspiration

I listen to many types of music, but the genre I usually have on the stereo when I’m making stuff is jazz. I’m not talking Kenny G. I mean classic jazz from the likes of John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Oscar Peterson, and Thelonious Monk. To me, bebop-style jazz played live is about as pure as creativity gets. No time to chin-rub a particular note—just go with the flow and see where it takes you.
