I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Strategy and Execution
Yes, it takes time and effort to build a storage roadmap and Zero-Based Budgeting (ZBB). It takes even more time and effort to socialize the roadmap with your management, your customers, your staff, your peers … why? Fundamentally, “no roadmap” is a literal phrase. It means you have no direction, will keep repeating the same behaviors, and will keep getting the same substandard results.
Execution takes discipline and planning:
■ Identify and prioritize high priority/high value projects (show the business upside)Estimate costs and risks (business expense)Identify the strategic upside for the business as well as the downside of inaction (show strategic value)
