Originally, AAL3 and AAL4 were dened separately to support connection-oriented and connectionless
services, respectively. However, later they were combined to form a single format AAL3/4. Thus, it supports
both connection-oriented and connectionless services. Here, the CS sublayer forms a PDU by inserting a
header at the beginning of a frame or appending a trailer. It passes the PDU to SAR sublayer, which partitions
