I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Physical Layer
The lowest layer of IEEE 802 reference model is equivalent to the physical layer of the OSI model.
It depends on the type and implementation of transmission media. It defines a specification for the
medium of transmission and the topology. It deals with the following functions:
encoding of signals at the sender’s side and the decoding of signals at the receiver’s side;
transmission and reception of bits and
preamble generation for synchronization.
