So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Volume Shadow Copy
Windows Volume Shadow Copy (VSS) is a service in which state changes in blocks of data are compared daily and changed blocks are copied to a volume shadow. The VSS service runs once per day and stores change data as 16-KB blocks of data. In differential copies of VSS, only the changes are backed up, on a cluster-by-cluster basis. For a full copy or clone, entire files are backed up.
