It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
CHAPTER SUMMARY
In this chapter, you learned the fundamentals of the macOS operating system. It is important to have a working understanding of any operating system before attempting forensics on that system. You also learned where to look for log files and what is contained in those logs.
The shell commands that you learned in this chapter are critical. It is important that you remember those and be able to use them on Apple computers you examine. It is also important that you understand imaging a suspect Apple computer and recovering deleted files.
