AirDrop
AirDrop is a feature in macOS that allows users to share files, photos, and other data between Mac computers, and between Macs and iOS devices like iPhones and iPads. It uses a combination of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to establish a direct peer-to-peer connection, enabling fast and secure transfers. AirDrop was first introduced in Mac OS X Lion and iOS 7. AirDrop creates a direct connection between devices, so it doesn’t require a Wi-Fi network or internet connection.
