When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Cisco LRE
Like ADSL, Cisco LRE facilitates the transport of symmetrical, bidirectional data over unshielded copper twisted-pair telephone wires originally intended for the frequency band between 300 Hz and 3.4 kHz. Cisco's development of LRE provides an extension to the IEEE 802.3ah standards. The IEEE calls the technology being defined by its task force “Ethernet in the First Mile” (EFM). The industry group promoting LRE is similarly called the Ethernet in the First Mile Alliance (EFMA). As of fall 2002, the IEEE 802.3ah EFM Task Force has reached consensus on a complete set of baseline technical proposals that will provide the foundation of the Ethernet in the First Mile standard.
