1. Purpose: This procedure defines the process and mechanisms for:
•Identifying OH&S hazards at Safe & Sound Steel Manufacturing (SSSM).
•Determining and assessing the risks that may result from these hazards.
•Determining existing and additional control measures required to eliminate or reduce the risk level.
•Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of control measures.
2. When is hazard identification and risk assessment undertaken? Workplace hazard identification, risk assessment and control are ongoing processes at SSSM. They should be undertaken at various times, including:
