I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
APPENDIX K: BEHAVIOUR-BASED SAFETY
BBS is an approach to safety that focuses on workers' behaviour as an important cause of most work-related injuries and illnesses.
In the context of OH&S, we often refer to three types of behaviours:
Unsafe behaviour: These are dangerous acts that often result in injuries and can be identified with common sense and experience. When actions are highly likely to result in a negative outcome (i.e. injury), we view these as unsafe behaviours.
At-risk behaviour: These are behaviours with a low probability of injury. They don’t often result in injury but occasionally do or at least have the potential to. These behaviours are a problem for individuals and organisations because they are difficult to detect with common ...
