Implementation using software
We have discussed a large number of approaches for fitting dose–exposure and
exposure–response models. The models and model fitting algorithms are given
as mathematical formulas, together w ith some program codes and output. The
codes are to clarify which model a nd model options are implemented, rather
than to tea ch how to use the software. For thos e without much experience
of using the aforementioned software, a more systematic guidance on model
implementation may be helpful. That is the purpose of this chapter.
