How to do it...

To create the facade class, follow these steps:

1. Our service order line table does not currently have a quantity field, so one should be added using the EDT PurchQty. Ensure that this also appears on the service order form's line grid, by adding it to the Overview field group on the table. You will also need to refresh the data source on the form (right-click on it and choose Restore).
2. Create a new class named ConVMSPurchOrderGenerateFacade.
3. Create a new static method called CreateOrderFromServiceOrder, as follows:
