So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
The concept is the same as for any form – we just have more features. The peculiar part of this form is that we have two views – one for the list view and the other for editing or viewing the details of the form.
This is done by showing and hiding the detail and list tabs. It knows which control to show or hide because we followed the pattern, which means that pattern conformation errors must result in a compilation error.
To test this on the development virtual machine provided by Microsoft, build the project and use the following URL: https://usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com/?cmp=usmf&mi=ConVMSVehicleTable.
You can use this pattern to open any display menu item.
