I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
The entity is generated through a code generator, which creates the entity with no coding required. The code is stored as an XML file, just like any other AX class, and writes it to the folder of the Destination Model. This means that it is very easy to choose the wrong package and have our code in the wrong model.
This can be fixed by opening Windows Explorer and moving the file from the default folder of C:\AOSService\PackagesLocalDirectory\ATLApplicationSuite\ATLApplicationSuite\AxClass to the AxClass folder of our test package.
