When security roles are synchronized with the organizational hierarchy, security becomes more of a human resource management process than an IT administrator role.

You may notice that you can add privileges directly to a role, but this should be avoided. When adding privileges directly, we usually end up with a higher maintenance load when changes are required. Adding or removing privileges from a duty affects all the roles that the duty is added to.
