I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
To create the state machine menu items, follow these steps:
- Add a new action menu item to the project named ConVMSVehInspStatusWaiting. Complete the property sheet as follows, in the order stated in the following table:

| State Machine Transition To | Waiting. |
| Label | The label you use in the Waiting state's Label property. |
| Help Text | Create a suitable label stating this will move the state to Waiting. |

- Create the menu items for the remaining states (PendingApproval and Complete) by following the same pattern.
- Open the ConVMSVehicleTable form in the designer.
- Under the form's Design node, expand the FormActionPaneControl control, ...
