I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
When the build agent is installed, it creates a TFS workspace. This is based on the source mapping in the pipeline; for an example, refer to the following:

It starts by downloading all changes from this folder in TFS to a local working folder. Then, it uses the descriptor file to determine what to build.
Once the files have been downloaded, the following happens:
- Checks are made to verify whether the DynamicsBackup folder exists on the C drive – this will be on a backup-specific drive when the build server is deployed using LCS.
- If it does not exist, a SQL backup is made to the DynamicsBackup\Databases folder and the ...
