Choosing your contribution, triaging issues, creating and testing your work, submitting pull requests… Now you know exactly what to expect when you submit your first contribution to a free and open source project. Of course the details will vary a bit, but the overall picture will probably look a lot like what you’ve just read. It may seem like a lot, and you’re right: it really is.
