So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

And now here you are, some 180 or so pages later, at the end of a long journey toward learning how to contribute to free and open source software projects. You may not yet know all there is to know about contributing, but you’ve successfully learned more than enough to get started and be an effective contributor and community member. You probably started this book thinking that it was going to be very technical and were surprised when it was not, but by now you’ve learned that while technical knowledge and skills are usually necessary to contribute to FOSS, human knowledge and skills are much more important for success.
