So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

People in IT usually have more job opportunities than others. Many doubt-
ers and deniers will change their minds. If your organization doesn’t change fast
enough, you can find an opportunity with someone more sympatico—or wait
until your employer’s business declines and you get a pink slip.

Understanding what’s likely to happen next with climate change is next to
impossible—but very valuable, if you can manage it. I can introduce you to
some upcoming events and some trends in climate science that will help you
stay oriented and proactive (rather than just reacting to changes in the climate
