So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The idea is to create a whole conference room out of two disparate halves.
Each organization in telepresence creates one or more half-rooms. The half-
rooms are then knitted together electronically during each meeting. Figure 12.4
shows one telepresence setup in operation. It gives some feel for the level of
interactivity that’s possible with this kind of setup.
The experience of telepresence is amazing. I had the opportunity to use
it while working for a major global company on a worldwide video portal, all
using Cisco gear. Cisco wanted the company to up its telepresence usage, so
they made sure to include telepresence meetings in the project I was working on.
