I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Encrypting the storage account
As mentioned, most resources are encrypted by default, and the same goes with the Azure Storage Account. However, you have the option to use your own key to encrypt storage. To use your own key, you must select Use your own key, which will allow you to select the Key Vault and the key that will be used for encryption. An example is shown in the following screenshot:
The time it takes to encrypt storage depends on the amount of data in the storage account. For smaller storage, it's a matter of seconds, but with large storage accounts it can take hours until the process is completed. If you are encrypting large ...
