I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Local installation
To start the installation process, we need to sign in with an account that has access to an Azure subscription. Usually, to access an Azure subscription, you use either a Microsoft Live account or a work/school/O365/AAD account. In this case, we cannot use a Microsoft Live account because only a work account is allowed. The sign-in form is shown here:
After the sign-in process is completed, we need to provide a New on-premises data gateway name and a Recovery key (8 character minimum). The recovery key is used if you need to restart the service or change its configuration:
