Creating a Traffic Manager

To create a new Azure Traffic Manager, we need to provide the name, routing method, subscription resource group, and location. The location will be automatically chosen if an existing resource group is used. One option that is specific to Traffic Manager is the routing method, and the available options are performance, weighted, priority, and geographical.

The Performance option is used when you want to point a user to a location that will provide the best performance based on response time, network latency, and so on.
