So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating a new directory
Even though AAD will probably exist if an Azure subscription is in place, let's start by creating a new AAD (a new tenant).
To create a new directory, we need to provide an Organization name, Initial domain name, and Country or region. Note that the initial domain name will be used to form an initial domain using yourdomain.onmicrosoft.com. The domain must be unique and can be customized for your custom domain later. An example of the settings is shown in the following screenshot:
