Installing Integration Services
The next step is to install Integration Services. In real life, either you will be installing Integration Services on a clean Windows platform—that is, on a system where no current or previous releases of SQL Server are installed—or you will be installing it on a computer that already has DTS 2000 installed. Both these scenarios are discussed in the following sections.
