I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

For the benefit of those who haven’t used WMI, I will explain Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) and its background to give you a head start. The Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) is an industry consortium that is involved with the development, support, and maintenance of management standards for computer systems and is involved with management technologies such as Common Information Model (CIM) and Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM). CIM is a standard for describing management information. CIM allows different management applications to collect the required data from a variety of sources and is platform independent.
