Integration Services identifies the properties containing sensitive data (i.e., passwords or connection strings) in a package and sets the sensitive attribute of these properties. Integration Services identifies the sensitive properties automatically and doesn’t let you change any sensitive attributes of these properties. However, you can specify the properties you want to be treated as sensitive for your custom-built SSIS components.
