Package Configurations
The next step in the deployment journey after having created a package is to create package configurations. By now, you should understand the versatility of variables and their preferable use in packages over hard-coding the values. Also in Integration Services, you can update the variable values using other components at run-time to add some dynamics to your package. This concept has been extended to properties of SSIS control flow components by package configurations.
