A continuation of Thomas Young's tri-cone theory, Red Green Blue (RGB), is one of the oldest and most widely used color models and color spaces. RGB is an additive color model. In this model, the three components of light—red, green, and blue—are added in different concentrations to achieve the complete spectrum of visible colors.
