It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Automatic hyperparameter tuning
There are various methods developed for the hyperparameter tuning. But, for most of them, one needs to specify a certain range of values for each of the hyperparameters. Most hyperparameters can be set by understanding the effect they will have on model capacity.
